Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that a visit from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “not on the table right now,” despite an invitation from President Joe Biden for the Israeli leader to visit the U.S. Trudeau said Canada remains “steadfast friends of Israel,” but added that he has concerns about rising violence and judicial reforms that Ottawa argues would undermine democracy in the Jewish state.
