As inflation continues to squeeze British Columbians, the provincial government announced Tues. July 18 that its increased monthly family benefit payment is here to stay. The rate initially increased for the first three months of 2023 and reaches about 95 per cent of the province's single parents, State of Child Care Minister Grace Lore said.
