Downed trees, branches wreaking havoc with transmission lines, roads and railways in West Island

Following a powerful storm in Quebec on Thursday, getting the lights back in for hundreds of thousands of clients is just one part of the job. Removing downed trees, broken branches and other debris could take several days. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, contractors, city crews and homeowners are working to get streets reopened and properties cleared.
