Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson commented on the federal review of the policing contracts and the rising vacancy rate within the RCMP on Wednesday during Canada's Premiers meeting. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith added that "it appears as though the force is being wound down simply through attrition and the federal government needs to be clear on its intentions."
