Winnipeg resident Alexus Opiola reflected on the aftermath of a lightning strike that sparked a fire near the roof of her neighbour's house on Thursday evening during a thunderstorm. Opiola said her first thought was saving her cats, dogs and pet rabbit. Opiola's family was advised by fire crews to check for potential damage on their roof from the fire.
