Although Canada has already seen many disastrous wildfires this year, Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair warned on Thursday that the risk of fire activity in the country for the summer remains “very high.” He added as of the moment he delivered his remarks, 648 wildfires are still burning, with 339 designated as out of control.
