Scientist discusses risks of bovine tuberculosis after disease traced to Saskatchewan farm

VIDO research scientist Jeffrey Chen spoke Wednesday about the tracking and identification of two cows with bovine tuberculosis to a producer in Saskatchewan. Chen said VIDO is currently developing a vaccine for the disease, which is expected to begin large-scale trials within a year.
