Despite the overcast weather and thick fog leading to a cancellation of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds aerial display over the harbour, Halifax residents still came out in numbers to celebrate Canada Day. As Vanessa Wright reports, people flocked to the waterfront and throughout the city to take in live music, boat tours, and other activities that were free to the public.
