CEO of Pelagic Research Services Ed Cassano said at a Friday update that the remotely operated vehicle ‘Odysseus 6K’ that recovered pieces of the Titan submersible found the wreck on the ocean floor soon after arriving at the search site on June 22. “And by 12:00, sadly, a rescue turned into a recovery. I have to apologize — we’re still demobilizing a lot of emotions. People are tired,” Cassano said as he momentarily teared up.
