Winnipeg’s Health Science Centre points to lack of patient beds following critical incident report

Health Science Centre (HSC) Chief Operating Officer Dr. Shawn Young said on Friday that patient flow challenges persist as there are “not nearly enough beds to support the patient caseload they are faced with daily.” Young’s comments follow the release of a critical incident report concerning the death of a patient on Feb. 27, 2023.
