Hajj pilgrimage: Millions of Muslims celebrate Arafa on Saudi Arabia’s Mount of Mercy

To celebrate Arafa, the most important day of the hajj pilgrimage, Muslim pilgrims gather on June 27, at sunrise, on the rocky Mount of Mercy to pray together. That mountain is where it is believed that the Prophet Mohammad delivered his final sermon nearly 1,400 years ago.
