Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, Russia on Thursday to lay a wreath and pay respects to the fallen soldiers who fought for the Soviet Union in World War Two. June 22, 2023 marked the 82nd anniversary of the Nazi Invasion of the country. The commemoration comes amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
