On National Indigenous Peoples Day on Wednesday, the Canadian government released its action plan on implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). “This represents a historic moment. This is a transformational document that holds potential and opportunity beyond the words written within its pages,” Minister of Justice David Lametti said.
