For a number of years, the local Canadian Mental Health Association has participated in ‘Ride Don’t Hide’, a nation-wide cycling event that raises funds and awareness for mental health.
This year, CMHA HKPR has changed up the title, now calling it ‘Change the Cycle’.
Funds raised will go toward the organization’s Garden Homes Project.
Rob Seguin, program manager for Global Peterborough’s sister stations 101.5 The Wolf and 100.5 Fresh Radio, joins Tricia Mason as he continues to be a big supporter and participant in these events. This will be his 7th ride, and he has already raised over $2000.
Change the cycle takes place this Saturday, June 24th at Nicholls Oval Park. Seguin’s donation page can be found at http://www.canadahelps.org/me/6mxk8DJY
