Montreal sees a spike in violent crimes in 2022 police report

Montreal police have released their annual report for 2022, tracking crime trends in the city. The numbers show violent crimes increasing and car thefts exploding. Many of the changes in the crime statistics can be attributed to pandemic disruptions. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
