Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre went toe-to-toe with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on debating the Bank of Canada’s interest rate hike Wednesday during question period. “Has he really sunken to the low of exploiting these fires for political gain to distract from his inflationary and high-interest rate policies,” Poilievre said in response to Trudeau as the two leaders went back and forth on the economy.
