Halifax Fire and Emergency Deputy Chief David Meldrum said during a Sunday update into the fires burning outside of Halifax that when residents return to their properties they’re going to see “difficult things.” He added that “a property can be totally destroyed and the neighbour close to them can have no damage or little damage. Our residents are going to see a lot of things – a lot of difficult things.”
