Dave Rockwood, the public information officer for Shelburne, N.S., announced on Sunday that as of 10 a.m. Monday, Highway 103 will reopen. At this time, he said the area is still restricted to the public until firefighters can confirm it’s safe. Earlier in the press conference, Premier Tim Houston said reopening this highway has been a top priority for the government amid the wildfires.
