Saskatoon city clerk Adam Tittemore said on Friday that past elections voter data was gathered by door-to-door solicitation which cost up to $500,000. Tittemore said the city’s partnership with Elections Saskatchewan will generate accurate voter data, saving both the cost of door-knocking and residents from the inconvenience of self-registration at the polls.
