Manitoba, Winnipeg paramedics reach agreement to increase ambulance service capacity

Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics Service Chief Christian Schmidt responded to Manitoba’s announcement on Wednesday announcing increased capacity for first responders. Schmidt said the agreement is a step in the right direction to bring wait times and burnout down adding that terms include guaranteed funding each year.
