Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics Service Chief Christian Schmidt responded to Manitoba’s announcement on Wednesday announcing increased capacity for first responders. Schmidt said the agreement is a step in the right direction to bring wait times and burnout down adding that terms include guaranteed funding each year.
