Speaking at the funeral of Jordan Neely on Friday, a Black man who died after he was fatally choked aboard a New York City subway train, Rev. Al Sharpton called out Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for referring to former marine Daniel Penny, the man accused in Neely’s death, as a “Good Samaritan.” Sharpton told mourners that “Good samaritans help people, they do not choke them out.”
