Canada’s biggest cemetery has been closed for 5 months. Families are now calling on the province to intervene

Over 250 bodies have gone unburied this year at Montreal’s Notre-Dames-des-Neiges Cemetery, with remains stored on-site at freezing temperatures. One man whose mother died in February called it inhumane and “lacking dignity” as he held flowers outside the gates on Mother’s Day. Global’s Phil Carpenter has more.
