During the official unveiling of the new Canadian passport on Wednesday, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced that Canadians who need to renew their passports will be able to do so online, for the first time, starting this fall. Social Development Minister Karina Gould emphasized that “folks applying for new passports” will not be eligible.
