Tenants of a building in Surrey have been told they’ll either agree to a 40 per cent rental increase, or they could be evicted. More than two dozen residents received the letter, saying their units could be put on the market if they don’t agree to the price hike. As Janet Brown reports, it appears to be fully legal.
