Renewed calls for King Charles III to renounce Doctrine of Discovery ahead of coronation

As the coronation of King Charles III approaches, some groups are renewing calls for the King to renounce the Doctrine of Discovery – a nearly 500-year-old papal decree used to justify colonial rule, which was was recently renounced by the Pope.
