Sociology professor Alexis Fox weighed in on Tuesday regarding the link between crime and the COVID-19 pandemic, proposing that the common morality became eroded by some of the impacts of COVID-19 lockdowns like isolation, desperation and anxiety. Fox said the solution is to “bring people back to investing in the community and having a stake in society.”
