Ontario education minister unveils plan to boost math skills, literacy rates at schools

Speaking at a Toronto Public Library branch on Sunday, Ontario education minister Stephen Lecce unveiled the province’s curriculum plan to “go back to basics,” focusing on boosting literacy rates and math skills. Lecce added that the program will add 1,000 new educators, with 300 focusing on math and 700 on literacy.
