Teen’s stabbing highlights Metro Vancouver transit safety concerns

Following a series of violent attacks on buses and SkyTrain, including the stabbing death of a 17-year-old in Surrey, TransLink is now hiring the first 12 of 24 promised Community Safety Officers to provide a third level of security on transit. Janet Brown reports.
