Consumer Matters: Calls for stronger home reno protections

Spring is a popular time to for home renovations, but it can also be a risky venture. Here in B.C., when projects go wrong with a bad renovator, homeowners have few consumer protections– with the exception of going to court. But B.C.’s housing critic is calling for change.
