BC Greens call for regulation of private mental health and addiction treatment centres

The BC Green party is calling on the province to regulate privately run treatment centres for mental health and addiction. MLA Adam Olsen calls the private facilities the “wild west of care,” saying they charge desperate families thousands of dollars and often don’t have proper care standards.
