Winnipeg police homicide unit investigator Insp. Shawn Pike reported on Tuesday on the investigation concerning human remains uncovered at the Brady Road Landfill. Pike disclosed the identity of the victim to be Linda Beardy, 33, from Winnipeg and appealed to the public for more information. He added that the investigation does not suggest Beardy’s death is related to previous incidents.
