Finland’s membership in NATO ‘not targeted against anyone’ says Niinistö

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said Tuesday, as Finland became the 31st member of NATO, that his country’s membership in the Western defence alliance is “not targeted against anyone.” His comments come as Russia said the country’s addition to NATO was “an assault on Russia’s security.”
