Police say 37-year-old Paul Stanley Schmidt was stabbed just before six pm outside the Starbucks at West Pender and Granville. 32-year-old Inderdeep Singh Gosal was arrested moments after the attack which was shared on social media and occurred in front of many witnesses. He has now been charged with second-degree murder. The police say that it doesn’t appear the two men knew each other.
