Nashville Police Department media relations director Don Aaron said Monday that seven people had been killed, including the suspect, in a shooting at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church. He confirmed that three students and three adults were killed. Aaron said the suspect was found by police after hearing gunfire and engaged them, resulting in the shooter being fatally shot by responding officers. He said there were no other non-lethal gunshot victims to his knowledge. He also said it is not known who the suspect is or if they have a connection to the school.
