TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew told U.S. lawmakers on Thursday that he’s “seen no evidence” the Chinese government has access to U.S. user data, adding that they’ve never requested data from his company. He said the data would be “moved into the United States to be stored on American soil by an American company” as part of the so-called “Project Texas.”
