South Carolina police announced Wednesday that the death of 19-year-old Stephen Smith, a former classmate of Buster Murdaugh, is now being investigated as a homicide. The teen’s body was found in the middle of a rural road in 2015, about 24 km away from the home of the Murdaugh family.
