Bill introduced to protect first responders

A Conservative MP from B.C.’s Interior has taken his promise to protect first responders to Ottawa. The new bill is aimed at implementing harsher punishments against criminals who hurt first responders on the job. As Catherine Urquhart reports, it comes amid more attacks against police officers and paramedics in British Columbia.
