New Montreal police chief attends crime prevention summit hosted by minority communities

Montreal’s new police chief, Fady Dagher, was among the many participants to attend a what was being billed as a community safety and crime prevention initiative, held at Union United Church. It brought together members of the English-speaking Black community in an effort to begin to address barriers to equitable inclusion and participation in crime prevention programs. Global’s Elizabeth Zogalis attended the event.
