Speaking in Bridgewater, N.S., on Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Michelin North America CEO announced that the company, federal and provincial governments will spend $300 million to expand the company’s facilities in Nova Scotia, which could create dozens of new jobs at its Bridgewater plant. “This isn’t just good for your local economy, it’s also good for the environment. More and more people want clean technologies in their lives, including electric vehicles,” Trudeau said.
