Winnipeg fire crews responded to a fire at 6:38 a.m. on Friday in the 500 block of Spence Avenue. Crews attacked the fire from inside the home, but were forced to evacuate due to escalating risks. One crew member was sent to hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
