The number of applications from Ukrainians wanting to come to Canada has now surpassed 900,000. The need is still great for host families in Calgary for newcomers from Ukraine but there is more to helping people who are arriving with little more than a suitcase than just providing a place to sleep. Carolyn Kury de Castillo has more from a Calgary couple who have helped over 30 families in the past year with all the challenges that come with starting a new life.
