The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is a gruelling women-only race across 2500 kilometres of the Sahara Desert in Morocco. It does not seem a natural fit for British Columbians more accustomed to driving in the rain than in sand, but two local women are tackling the challenge right now. Jay Durant caught up with them before they left.
