Much of southern Ontario is digging out after a winter storm blanketed much of the province. The biggest snowfall of the season in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) dropped as much as 30 centimetres of snow in some areas; grounding flights, knocking out power for thousands of homes and even unleashing a rare phenomenon called “thundersnow.” As Touria Izri reports, that storm system is now working its way east.
