Poor recycling practices in Central Okanagan cost taxpayers thousands of dollars

Batteries, dirty diapers, even furniture, the list of contaminants ending up in curbside recycling bins is long and astonishing. Residents in the Central Okanagan again being reminded to think twice before putting items into their blue bins. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, our recycling practices are so poor, hefty fines are now being imposed within the regional district.
