Putin’s sense of risk increased in recent years: CIA director on ‘Face the Nation’

CBS’ “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan spoke with CIA director William Burns on Sunday’s episode about Russia and the war in Ukraine. Burns stated, “I think [Vladimir Putin has] become increasingly convinced that he knows better than anyone else what’s at stake for Russia. I think his sense of destiny and his appetite for risk has increased in recent years as well.”
