Speaking during a committee meeting on foreign election interference on Tuesday, Conservative MP Blaine Calkins said that he wasn’t calling into question the general results of the last two elections, but that it is possible foreign state actors “can move a needle” in a few ridings. “Sometimes elections are very, very close. Sometimes the difference between a majority government and a minority government is less than 10 ridings. There are already 11 called into question just in the Toronto area alone,” Calkins said.
