Southern Ontario set to see ‘significant’ winter storm

A “significant” winter storm is set to hit southern Ontario later this week and, according to Global News chief meteorologist Anthony Farnell, residents could see freezing rain, ice pellets or snow depending where you live. The worst of the weather is expected to occur overnight Wednesday. Most of the freezing rain will stay south of Hamilton, while parts of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area will see a mix of snow and ice pellets.
