Hazel McCallion was a ‘trailblazer,’ never ‘lost sight’ of reason for entering politics: Ford

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday during the funeral for Hazel McCallion that the former Mississauga mayor “never lost sight” of her reasons for entering politics, calling her a “trailblazer” who never gave up despite being told early on in her career that she should “temper her ambition and drive to serve.”
