Edmonton’s music scene suffered a serious blow after Station on Jasper suddenly announced it was shutting its doors. It was one of only a few mid-sized venues within the city and an important spot for up-and-coming musicians. Brian Fauteux, associate professor of popular music and media studies at the University of Alberta, joined us on Global News Morning to talk more about the shrinking local music scene.
