Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland provided a more detailed outline on Tuesday of the proposed health-care plan announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that included $46.2 billion in new spending. The plan includes an increase to the Canada Health Transfer, money to advance health priorities including family health services and health backlogs, and money to address challenges faced by Indigenous people.
